What is the difference between a holistic nutritionist and a dietician? +

A dietician holds a degree in nutrition or dietetics and has completed supervised internships. They tend to work in clinical settings and are regulated. They typically take a science-based approach to nutrition. A holistic nutritionist focuses on nutrition as part of overall wellness and takes into consideration factors like lifestyle, mental wellness, stress and environment. Holistic nutritionists look at the “whole” person and on top of nutrition recommendations also provide recommendations for lifestyle change, stress management, sleep and incorporate the use of supplements, herbs and homeopathy if needed. They typically work for themselves or in settings like wellness centers. Once they complete a recognized program they tend to pursue a certification with an association, as I did through International Organization of Nutritional Consultants.

This depends on a number of factors including the severity of your symptoms. Simple changes, like adjusting meal timing or hydration, may have you noticing progress within days whereas working on major health shifts (like chronic conditions or body composititon changes can take a few months.

Why do you only offer packages?+

Packages encourage commitment which leads to a greater chance of achieving and sustaining positive results. They also include all the follow ups and ongoing support whereas pay as you go can lead to inconsistent sessions which limits the ability to track progress and make adjustments. When you sign on with us, your goal becomes our goal and we want you to see results.

If you wish to continue working with us once you package time is completed, we would move to pay per session at that time.
